What is Postnatal Fitness?

Postnatal Fitness is a supportive, baby-friendly class designed to help you rebuild strength, restore confidence and reconnect with your body after pregnancy.

Led by postnatal fitness specialist Gemma Melillo, each session focuses on core recovery, mobility and functional strength to support the physical demands of motherhood.

Whether you're newly postpartum or several years into your motherhood journey, you'll find a welcoming space to move, exercise and prioritise your wellbeing alongside other local mums.

What to Expect

Each class combines gentle but effective exercises designed specifically for postnatal recovery and strength building.

Sessions may include:

  • Core and pelvic floor rehabilitation exercises

  • Functional strength training

  • Mobility and flexibility work

  • Full-body conditioning adapted for postnatal bodies

  • Guidance on safe movement patterns for everyday motherhood

Classes are relaxed, supportive and welcoming, with babies encouraged to attend alongside their mums.

What to Bring

  • Your baby and anything you may need to keep them comfortable or entertained

  • Water bottle

  • Exercise mat (if you have one)

  • Comfortable clothing suitable for movement

Before You Arrive

  • Please arrive 5 minutes before the class starts

  • Complete your PAR-Q health questionnaire during the booking process

  • Let Gemma know about any injuries, concerns or postnatal complications

  • Parking is available on-site

This class takes place at The Range at Thoulstone Park.

When you arrive and enter the car park, you’ll see The Range, the L-shape building on your right next to Racquet Garden — it’s the old golf clubhouse for those who remember.

If you’re visiting The Bat Barn, continue up the road alongside The Range and you’ll find it on the left.

A calm and welcoming setting designed for movement, wellbeing, and connection. Surrounded by nature to help you fully switch off and focus on your practice.
